Is the pad/ bass-bloat problem fixed on these? Or will there be pad options? I hear the original was great, but then they changed the pads which killed the sound... I only want these with the original original sound signature.

zep483I agree. I want the original sound or I will not buy them again. I bought a pair from Amazon that had the new pads .... way to much bass although I mostly enjoyed the headphone. But, ultimately the bass coloration of the new pads is just to much. With the original pads or another pad that still gives the original sound I am in immediately.
