How big was this production run? I'd like to get a pair, and it would be helpful to know what the number sold means relative to how many are left.

ZenonThis is a Massdrop made item that has completed its first run. This means that these headphones are sitting in a warehouse, ready to ship after purchase.
These will be out of stock and ready for pre-order when they are sold out. When that happens, the "buy" button will turn into a "pre-order" button

erickongI understand how that works. My question is how many the warehouse got to begin with. If, for example, there were 5,000 in this run, that would mean there are currently about 3,400 left, because about 1,600 have been sold. I'd like to purchase one on this run before it sells out and gets sent to pre-order.

ZenonI do not know the answer to that question. Also, I have never seen a post disclosing inventory.

erickongAlright. I'll keep an eye out for a reply in case someone who knows would be willing to answer. It's definitely happened before on some of these Massdrop-made products.
