Size question - does this mean if I have a 34 waist in other jeans the N&F brand is a downsize?

KohliAs you can see from the Naked & Famous size chart, they use about 2" of vanity sizing (for most sizes) so a tag size 32 will have a waist measurement of 34. The need to downsize will depend on the amount of vanity sizing used by the vendor of the current jeans you own that are size 34. If your current jeans are Gustin (which uses no vanity sizing), then yes, you would need to downsize. But if your current jeans are Rogue Territory (which also uses a lot of vanity sizing), then you do not need to downsize.
The best way to determine size is to measure a pair of jeans that fit you well and then compare the measurements to the chart. When measuring the waist, the best procedure is to put the jeans on a flat surface (table, floor) with the top button fastened and then pull the front of the jeans up so it is aligned with the back of the jeans. Now measure across the top and double it to get the waist measurement. Compare this waist measurement to the table to find the best tag size in Naked & Famous Weird Guy fit.

KohliAll my N&F jeans are a waist size that's 2" smaller than my actual, measured, waist size. So typical vanity sizing.
