TechnologyGodMassdrop just announced a collab with empire ears for the Zues XIV. its $100 more, but i would say more critically regarded as the better iem. Noble, as brand, is more justified in its build quality and wizard design, while others like empire ears and 64audio stand stronger in sound quality (just check flinkenics top 17 iem shootout). I used to have the K10UA's, and am much happier with the legend x now. YMMV

kennnthanks a lot
kennnThe Katana was in that shoot out, the K10 was not and neither was the Encore.
Further more, the k10 has 31 consecutive five star reviews posted on Head-fi, no other portable monitors of any brand has matched that or surpassed that.
Also, the Katana recieved the IEM of the year in Japan....
So as you said
Ymmv

Hefethanks for correcting me my mistake.
and regardless, theres nothing wrong with making a suggestion and adding information. 31 consecutive reviews and it still didnt cut it for me, neither with the person I sold it to (actually noticed he made a classified for it recently LOL). but not everyone is like me, or the 31 people and more who loves noble products. I know it's a business and nothing wrong with that, just feel like I'm watching people in a bubble when I read the noble headfi thread.
and idk much about HiVi magazine but they ranked : 1. Legend X 2. U12t 3. Katana
to each their own, and I did enjoy the k10 while I had it:)
kennnRegarding HiVi ranking of the katana..... there again irrelevant
The product being sold is the k10

kennnNo problem.... the fact that the Katana ranks lower than say the K10 or Encore is not a surprise to me. The Katana is a more polarizing, either you like reference sounding products or you don't.
The K10 was more of a safely tuned product, aimed to please many rather a specific few.

TechnologyGodIf you have small ear canals—stay away from these. Westone or Shure IEMs use the Comply T-100 tip, which means their sound port is very thin, and has a small diameter. I’ve tried Noble IEMs at CanJams and loved the sound but their sound nozzle hurt my ears—and that was only after 10-20 minutes of demoing.
