How about offering a CIEM from Noble? If am going to invest in a quality manufacture, I would like to get a custom fit.
i like EDM is this IEM suit me ?
Thanks
I'm getting a Noble. Anyone has this VS the encore? I guess the main plus point for this drop is the price. The color though...
Omg can’t decide, itching to pull the trigger.... but size is a worry for my small ears

oh good point!! thank you. well I said what I had to say, no offense intended, and as we both said, YMMV ;)

No problem.... the fact that the Katana ranks lower than say the K10 or Encore is not a surprise to me. The Katana is a more polarizing, either you like reference sounding products or you don't.
The K10 was more of a safely tuned product, aimed to please many rather a specific few.
Got headphones. Really leave a very good impression.

Thanks for the help with storing the player in the case. I'm waiting for the Hidizs AP80. Looked to the size. He enters the case.
EarStudio ES100 Bluetooth DAC/Amp is behind K10U
So does anyone else own these, AND some Campfire Audio Andromeda and Dorado IEM's? Should I possibly invest in a pair of these too? Or just save my money and enjoy my CA IEM's?
Thanks in advance for your help and experience with the Andromedas and the K10's!

Thanks for the info money4me247, I REALLY appreciate it!
I guess more than anything else I just wanted to hear a (10) BA Driver IEM, and certainly don't need these! For when I want a more laid back and more "fun" sounding IEM, with more bass than my Andromedas, I just listen to my CA Dorado's, so I think that I'm going to pass on these and just save up for a pair of 64 Audio CIEM's, like the new N8 Lucious hybrid CIEM's. Or get a pair of their universal IEM's like the hybrid Trio or Fourte's!
EDIT: I finally got my Sony MUC-M2BT1 LDAC MMCX Cable in the mail from Japan yesterday. Now I can go wireless without a huge degrade in audio sound quality, and even though it's bigger than my Westone APT-X Bluetooth MMCX Cable, it definitely sounds better and has better resolution and clarity, and an overall better sound! So now I can go HQ/Hi-Res LDAC wireless with my CA Andromeda and Dorado IEM's, as well as my Westone UM Pro 30 Second Generation IEM's. And all 3 of my listening devices ( Google Pixel 1 phone with 32,000 songs uploaded to my Google Play account), Shanling M0 and Sony NW-A35 Walkman, which are ALL capable of putting out the Highest Quality LDAC signal of 990kbps😎👍😇

i have the k10u massdrop from last drop and love them. I had and sold the CA andromeda (too big and wasn't overly impressed), Vega (great size but unrealistic sound, way to booooomy), and recently Ibasso it04 (good but not great but for $500 its a deal) I bought the K10U used from a massdrop member and love them . They pair w my hiby r3, ibasso dx150 w amp 3, sony zx300 w 4.4, and the mojo and idsd black. I own a senn HD800s and ultrasone sig pro modded w dual exit for balanced and i go back to my K10 u more often than anything especially w the R3. Small and wonderful w very little loss in sound from the mojo or idsd.
I am going to chip in how does these compare to my W60? Would it a huge jump in terms of imaging and detail? Thank you!
How do these compare to Shure se846? My ue triple fi 10 finally died (right body broke a second time) so I'm looking to upgrade or replace them with something. Got Shure se215 (new model) but they're not much fun. Old model was better. They have 846 in store, the price would be the same as these kaiser 10 after import fees and all. Which one would be a better purchase?
I listen to Google play music in high quality, using my Samsung galaxy s7 phone. No dedicated amp, nothing fancy. May upgrade to LG quad dac phone later. I use music as a background for work to help me concentrate (work place is noisy, ear plugs simply cause, er, pink noise?) and during commute. I use speakers at home.

Oh wow. Thanks again for your time and effort.
I tried all 3 filters of my 846 and ended up switching back to the balanced one (the blue one?). Same for the yellow foamies but I've been using the stock cable. I was hoping since SE846 is indeed a couple of years old and Zeus XIV does have that many more drivers, the experience will be much "better" I suppose. I guess not lol. Then I am not sure if I want spend that much on another pair of earbuds even though it seems to be a great deal.
I tried the Andromeda and liked it however, I can't find a happy fit for me since they either hurt my ears or they are not really in the right position. I assume the Andromeda S will present a similar problem for me:/ Also, I guess I've asked others this question as well, but wouldn't be more "logically" to catch a drop rather than paying full price? Especially given that the Zeus are so much cheaper than the stock version.
no I totally agree. if i had the money I would get this as well. from what I've read, mass drop claims that the drivers and crossovers are identical. only place i can see that they cut corners would be the shell (which they've confirmed to be a simple, cost friendly and yet sturdier design), connections of internals (2 pin port, cabling inside, solder material) and maybe accessories? I could be wrong and might miss out a bunch of stuff. I havent read anything on sound impressions yet but it was emphasized that the stuff that matters most, are the same of that which is in the Zues from EE. no one has received these yet IIRC. once again, YMMV, those who love the zues often dont listen to the music I do, but more on classical, vocal and rock, but even myself who LOVES BASS (I have the legend x) I really love the zues.
Has anybody shipped these to Canada? I'm worried about $900 USD IEMs going via DHL or Ascendia costing me a fortune in customs and duty fees.
Buying these, or staying married... Decisions, decisions...
Load 1 more comment
That is horrible, but funny!
jsmiller58
Staying married, if it's of value 4 u. There are IEM's that cost a lot less & sound just as good...😀
Anyone know the actual sensitivity of these? Good call on Massdrop for not including that in the specs! 😤😵😥
I already have Campfire Audio Andromeda and Dorado IEM's, as well as Second Generation Westone UM Pro 30's, but these look VERY appealing to me with the 10x BA Drivers, especially for the price! The only time I've heard a Knowles BA Driver was in a pair of the NuForce HEM 2's (I think, the red HEMs), and I definitely wasn't impressed!
Thanks in advance for the sensitivity specs!

Thanks Jay, I appreciate the info!
I already have a pair of the Campfire Audio Andromeda and Dorado IEM's, as well as a pair of the Westone UM Pro 30 Second Generation IEM's, so I don't NEED another pair of them. However, I would definitely like to try these out after reading numerous positive reviews and them having DOUBLE the BA Drivers that my Andromedas have. I bet these do sound fantastic, but I need to finish paying off my new Dorado's before I invest in another pair of high-end IEM's, so I'll have to wait and hope for a future drop of these unfortunately 😕 😭 😎👍😇🎧
If anyone figures out the sensitivity for these I'd be eternally grateful LoL 😁 I am more than positive that these would be plenty loud enough for regular albums and music, however, that's not what I listen to 99.9999% of the time. I'm mainly listening to my live recordings of hippie/electronic style music of live recordings I make myself with Schoeps microphones and Sound Devices Mixpre6 and Mixpre3 recorders (the BEST and most expensive in the world) and are extremely HQ Recordings, and the levels are never as loud and compressed as the regular music that the rest of the world listens to!

Fwiw, the days of me carrying around a separate DAC/HP Amp are over, and as of right now I'm listening to my MP3's AND 24-Bit HR FLACs through my Shanling M0 Music Player, with an output of 80mw of power! I'll be upgrading that to a Shanling M5s in a month or so whenever they finally release them, since I've been very pleased and happy with the Shanling M0! I also own a Sony NW-A35 Walkman, which has been demoted to my car music player, because I prefer the features and specs more than the Sony Walkman, and the sound is the same or better on the Shanling M0!!! I'm sure that the M5s will have plenty of power for my Dorado's (only 102db sensitivity and a 19 or 17 ohm impedance, so not the loudest IEM's ever), as well as upgrades to the DAC and HP Amp chips in the M5s vs the M0. So I know that will have enough power to drive almost ANY IEM's on the market, even with my lower level live audio recordings, and the K10U's will be no exception. The M5s will have 240mw of power at 16 ohms I believe, and around DOUBLE that I'm balanced mode!
If someone has a Shanling M0 Music Player AND these K10U's, I'd love you to check out a few of my live recordings from the links below, and tell me if the K10U's get loud enough 😎👍😇🎧😘

VAT for imports...government has to get its share of your euro...😂🙄😭
Shipped early and arrived earlier than anticipated so that was nice.
Balanced cable option hooked up to an AK120II and they’re amazing.
Only thing I would have liked to seen is 1 or 2 optional high end balanced cable choices.
hardlabor4u
What was your anticipated shipment date?
Got mine today with additional 2.5mm balanced cable.
Hook-up to Fiio X7 Mk2... enjoying it... :) :) :)
Need some playing hours to get smoother & best sound
Delivered today to New York! Early ship. Early deliver! Going to give a listen later this afternoon.

Mine arrived today despite tracking saying Wed. Only got to listen for 5 mins or so as really busy today. Tomorrow night in hotel I can spend more time with these. No chips or scratches. Nice comfy secure fit with the smallest silicone/red tip. I have small ear canals. Much more comfy than Angies.

Really enjoying these. Originally had comply t500 large tips and sounded good. Ordered a set of medium size and what a difference. Such a small change and the impro in the sound was much bett than expected. Anyone have experience with other tips that the would recommend? Fit, comfort and sound are important
Hello, guys! Tell me, please, with the help of which company will you deliver Noble K10 to Ukraine? Thanks in advance!
Also received an e-mail, order made om May 11th will be shipped by the end of next week (August 10th). I'm happy!
dafos
Did yours actually ship early? I joined the drop on May 8th and received an email about early shipping, but have heard nothing since.
Just received message that shipment has arrived at warehouse early and scheduled for shipment 8/10 for original September ship date.

So hyped. Never would have thought I'd get them this quick. Always expect delays. Kinda nice having the time shift go the other way.
BestUndecided
Shipped. Two weeks after ordering.
Does anyone know if the last batch that they had shipped on the actual date or was there a delay? And if so, by how much. Thanks.
brownsox
I joined the drop on the 26/03/2018 and have been shipped today (2/08/2018) (from the original due date 17/05/2018)
Are these a waste of money if I’m only going to drive them off my iPhone?

I think you are missing the point. All I’m saying is on a typical day, indoor and outdoor, there’s only going to be a very short period where outside noise is so loud it falls in line with your argument that you’re better off with the cheaper headphones. The other 95% of the listening experience indoor or out is going to be better on the higher end IEM. It just is. Now maybe you are in a minority where everywhere you go is really loud, but all I’m saying is your use case is not the norm. And yes I’ve been to NYC, since you ask, as well as countless cities across the globe.
Yeah, me too. Except on the plane because I like the noise cancelling. So my commute typically starts with NC over ears then switches to IEM for the rest of the week until I fly home again. I also tend to find overears ache after a while - LCD and Ether in particular. On ears, even the T51p ached. IEMs too I suppose, but often I can last longer and look less like a tool.
If anyone was looking for a perfect pairing for these IEMs, I'm selling my pristine Sony NW-WM1A with my entire Hi-Res music collection and a 4.4mm balanced cable that I use for my own pair of K10s.
Let me know if anyone is interested. Shipping will cost the same across Europe.

What kind of cable do you use it for?
Panitan
Check the link. Its a pure silver 8-braid balanced cable, included with the Sony NW-WM1A. It has a 4.4mm jack that the Sony uses, and it really improves the sound quality and clarity.
probably a dumb question, but would you notice the quality on something like this when listening to sources like spotify, or would you need higher quality music sources.
BestUndecided
In my experience, spotify is good enough. Heck, I can hear the difference in headphone quality and signature with youtube even though youtube's audio compression doesn't playback frequencies past 16Khz.

Thank you
How long is he delay on these usually? also are these ok with poor recordings? Thanks

Thanks for all your help gona pick these up

You are welcome, the only real "cons" I can think of are the the larger bore size and I wouldn't choose them if one is looking for a ruler flat response. A dash of extra bass, slight mid peak and a little treble sparkle. It's close to perfect for me and is inline with some versions of the Harmon response curve. I've enjoyed them with every genre and they don't fatigue me in the least.
phila58
I use a Comply 500 in medium and it's just about perfect.
jaydunndiddit
Thank you for your reply.
Searching on Head-Fi for a like-new pair is easier. Don't need to wait for months and the price is just much cheaper.
bearwarrior
Yes, buying used stuff is generally cheaper than buying it new.
I have purchased cars for less money than these--and all of them were bigger, and went faster.
Hey all, I have a pair of these amazing IEM's from the 1st drop. Unfortunately I have wacky small ear canals and even with the smallest ear tips, included and aftermarket, can't get a good fit as the stem on these is pretty big. My audiologist indicated that I do have uncommonly narrow ear canal so I'd expect that I'm just outside of the usability range. That said, they sound amazing... I mean truly amazing!
If anyone wants to skip the wait, I'd be happy to let them go to a new home. I'm in Canada. Shoot me an email if interested. They've been used for a maximum of 2 hours since receiving them.
SOLD.

Sold, thanks for your interest.

This is worrying I have small ear canals too, thus Westone are a good fit.
Joined the drop in may when it said Sept shipping. Now it says October shipping. Is my order still going to be fulfilled by September? @AveryC

I think this is supposed to be a seperate batch
I read it somewhere that the massdrop version is made in China factory. Nothing against China production but have more faith in USA made quality and precision in sound tuning.
Load 5 more comments
Assembled is what I meant, but we're really arguing semantics here. Point is even their universals are not entirely made in the US
Chi-Fi gave me a chuckle . I'm gonna use that whenever I can
