I got mine yeasterday and I am disappointed in the bass. I tried my Oppo HA-2 and it helped a little bit. Ohter than the bass they are great!! I might have to sell them.

Bob3600I hear they're pretty flat and offer color free audio. Are you running them through an EQ as well?

EcksNo EQ, running them through the Oppo Ha-2 and Red DragonFly. I did listen to Neil Young "Harvest" in 24bit 192000 Hz and that added a bit more punch. The vocals, highs and mids are beautiful though. Next I need to compare them to the Westone W50.

Bob3600Maybe throw them through an EQ, if you have the means. Dial in the lows, mids, and highs. My westone 3's were pretty flat as well, even with three drivers.

TheDocI don't think so. I chose the foam eartips and they expanded very well to fill my ear. Me thinks it is the nature of the beast:). What do you think?

Bob3600I'd try the other ear tips. While the Noble x isn't designed to be a product for bass heads, you don't see comments about it lacking bass. It could be a seal or it could be what your expectations as to what bass should be. . There are comments that say the noble x is a deep v and the er4p is superior to the noble x. Anything is a deep v when compared to the er4p.
Point is, it is all relative and subjective
