i must have missed any earlier discussion but am wondering if the stock cables on these are copper or silver-plated?
Does anyone know where I can get a cheap aftermarket replacement for the case? I lost mine - and would get the one off Noble's website, but US$25 shipping to Australia for a $10 plastic jar is a bit too much!
I never thought it was really right to do this but I've seen others do it so here goes: I have a like new pair of these that I could just never get a good fit with I'd sell cheaper in the US. Tragic@Cinci.rr.com
Just an update for those of you looking for better tips.
I just purchased the comply TS-500 tips and I have to say they are WAY better than the generic tips I bought before. The generic ones I bought are OK, but very finicky with fit even though they look almost exactly the same as the comply tips. The comply tips are made from a much better foam which expands back toward the original shape better so no audio is cut off like the generic ones.
Have to say, the Noble X is a good pair of IEMs once you find the correct tip for your ears. I still love how the 900s' fit (flush with my ear, etc) but I find the sound from the Xs more well rounded.

I have also used spinfits which are amazing tips, but my ear canals just match the Symbio tips better.
Thanks for the recommendation. I will keep these in mind for the future.
looking for the 2.5mm TRRS cable on Noble X. I saw their website is selling one, does anyone have experience if it's compatible with Noble X?
Thanks in advance
rlausa
yes it is compatible, I'm actually looking to trade my 2.5mm for the 3.5mm
Looking for replacenent for ny shure 215. Is this good or better?
Chunboon
Better.
Is there any way to order the iOS Cable only?
rhflame
You can probably request someone who is buying the earphones only. :)
try these with +1.000$ dac unit. you won't believe ur ears.
Hello guys, what is better ue 900s or this noble?

And i choose w40 without any listening(blind order)😂😂😂so maybe i did mistake😃

I have both and they both sound great. Noble X is a bit over 900S at the bass. Personally preference, it's much better sound if use the memory foam tip on the Nobel X. They both worth to own.

These are already shipping out? I got an email saying they have shipped. I wasn’t expecting it till late September!
ColbyN
Shipping label must've been created. Now they should ship in couple of days.
First pair of IEM bought from here and still digging it! Mostly tend to use it alternatively with Mojo paired with iPhone 6s Plus or OnePlus 3 and Sony NW-A35 Walkman. Love the sound signature and the fact that it doesn't have overwhelming bass. Clearly, I'm not a Basshead.
FOR SALE: These sound great!! They have decent bass presence, the mids are a little recessed but defined and clear, and the highs are somewhat bright but not harsh at all. I bought these on the last drop to use as a backup pair of in-ear monitors on my last tour. Ended up only using them twice. I did use the cable for the whole tour, though. (I lost the cable for my custom in-ears) Now I have a backup custom set and don’t need these anymore. $180 shipped!!

Did you sell or are they still available?

Finally sold them!
Can anyone say what would be a better option? These or Campfire Lyra II for $400

I don't have Lyra 2, but I have Noble X, I think it worth the money, but it took me quite a while to get the great fit. If you have a small ear canal like me, you really need some time to figure out the fit. I saw a lot of people try to sell Noble X also because of this problem. Sound quality is really good to be honest.
RIFP
I much prefer my Vegas but that's a bit of a different story. My money while be in the LYRA personally as I like CA tuning better
Hey... does anyone know what spinfit will fit these? Thanks

Anyone know how these compare to Savannas?
ccyc
I compared them back to back at an event a few months ago. I'd owned the Noble X for about a year at that point and the Savanna sounds very similar but a little bit better than the Noble X at everything to me. The Noble X is definitely more bang for your buck but if you like this kind of sound and can afford the Savanna then definitely go for it!
How is the sound isolation of these headphones? I currently have Westone W40 but they failed and am looking for a replacement. Things I am looking for are good sound isolation, larger soundstage and more neutral sound.
joshuawas
If you're looking for neutral, these ain't it. The X is musical, rich, and warm. If you want neutral, I would look at the more analytical Savanna. Soundstage isn't the widest or tallest but it does have good imaging for its smallish size. Seal is fine but is wholly dependent on tip. I use a size larger than normal for these and they seal very well.
Upgraded to Noble Kaiser 10 Custom, hence letting Noble X go. 30-40 hours on them, no issues whatsoever. I'm based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Paid $200 to a fellow Massdropper +$40 shipping + $45 customs duties. Asking 200 EUR + shipping - for those of you in EU it's a steal.
Question: Will this drop close if the target number of units purchased isn't achieved? I'm committed to the drop and looking forward to using them!
LongLiveRock
Drop successful. Thanks!
So since I will not be able to test run these before I purchase them, I am asking to see how the Massdrop + Universal, Nobel X and the LS-300is all around this pricing best for my need... 1) on portable device (NW-ZX100) only, I prefer over the ear headphones at home 2) preference of music - classical (mainly violin and symphonies) and some JPops 3) use them during daily commute in public transportation (buses and subway), I use over the ear NC headphones when I am having my plane ride I some time feel that unlike using a DAC, Amp and listen in a quiet room, I only use the IEM on my portable device which isn't top notch, I am listening in a kind of noise environment... so is the quality of the IEM even make that much difference? Will a cheap one work as well since I am not listening in a quiet environment anyway? I will post this under the other 2 IEM I am interested as well. Any advise will help!
bit pricey! >_<;;
HwoALanG
It's pretty normal for mid-range IEMs actually
I'd kinda rather order the Dulce Bass directly and get some bass heavy iem's without having to wait until August. These are tempting though!

Sure can. Depends on which color and version you want. I like the black cases to keep my CA Andromeda and Dorado IEM's in, and Adorama is the only place online that has free shipping for them, as well as the lowest price! They usually have them in stock too 😎👍🎧 And you can find the first generation orange cases anywhere online, however Adorama is the easiest and cheapest place to get the black ones!
https://www.adorama.com/wes79199.html
That's the first generation Westone cases even though the Adorama link says it's the II Generation ones. The first generation cases DO NOT have the pressure release valve on them, as well as the first generation of them having more foam to encapsulate the IEM's better to protect them from coming into contact with the plastic polymer inside of the case!
The second generation cases DO HAVE the pressure release valve, which is nice and all, but I prefer the first generation cases because they have a more solid clasp/clip that closes the case, and the little bit more of foam on the inside. The second generation cases have a flimsier clasp/clip that closes the case together and I always felt like I was going to break it everytime I went to open it up, because of the pressure release valve being in the way, and just feel cheaply made compared to the original First Generation cases.
So if I were you I'd get the orange or black first generation Westone Mini Monitor Vault's because of their added durability at the clasp that closes them, as well as the slightly more foam depth on the inside of the cases! I DO really like the added clipping points on the second generation ones, because you can put a small Carabiner on them to keep them from accidentally opening, however the first generation ones don't need those because they're better built IMO!
I've sold or traded the second generation cases I used to have and now I only own the first generation cases, if that tells you anything about them!
Also, I can fit my IEM's ( CA Andromeda, Dorado's and Westone Second Generation UM Pro 30's) inside of the Westone cases with the attached MMCX Cable (Estron Linum G2 SuperBax and Bax MMCX Cables usually), AND a Westone Dessicant Pod inside of them with a nice and tight fit! If you wrap your MMCX Cable and IEM's around just two of your fingers (index and middle finger for me), and keep the MMCX Cable wrapped up on the left side of the case, with the IEM's tucked together on the right side of the inside of the case, so that they don't rub against each other, and with the Dessicant Pod on top of the MMCX Cable, it closes nice and tight. ZERO movement or banging around insid and I can rest assured that no matter what I put that case through abuse-wise, that they'll be nice and protected inside and won't be able to move around a fraction of a hair! I still obviously take amazing care of them and the cases, and avoid ANY sudden shocks or drops as always, but I don't have to worry about them getting damaged from normal day to day usage, since the Andromedas and Dorado's are my daily Drivers. I often have them clipped to my belt loops on my pants with some black 350 Paracord and a NiteIze "SlideLock" Carabiner, and they're still EXTREMELY portable compared to other cases. And you simply CANNOT beat the protection that they offer! You can see what I'm trying to recommend from the above pictures that I forgot I had posted in this thread!
Also, for ANY IEM's without a metal grill to block the sound nozzles and nozzles that have big bore holes, I can't recommend the Comply Isolation+ with Waxguard or the Sport+ with SweatGuard enough. Hell I have them on every IEM I own to prevent ANY ear wax or debris from entering the sound nozzles, plus they're easily the nicest and most comfortable memory foam tips I've ever used! I highly recommend those for every IEM out there!
AND if I want to bring along my TINY Shanling M0 Music Player with the IEM's, and I want to leave the Dessicant Pod at home, I just swap the two out and DONE! That combo also keeps the IEM's from budging a millimeter and makes me feel comfortable too. Can't beat having your expensive IEM's and your TINY music player from getting the elements anywhere near them, and in such a small and portable option! Well worth the $22 they cost IMO! And if I ever want to bring extra MMCX cables or both pairs of my CA IEM's, I just toss everything into a Pelican Micro 1010 or 1015, with some solid cell foam cut to size inside so that everything is snug and tight fitting, and I'm ready for whatever life can throw at me, and it's still a VERY portable listening setup taboot 😎😉😇🎧
Whew, that was a long post. Sorry about that! But I wanted to explain the difference between the two Westone Mini Monitor Vault's, as well as let you know that they can definitely take some abuse from day to day life and real world usage, and to recommend the best way they fit inside, at least for me and my IEM's (with the Dessicant Pods too)! Pics above of my Andromeda setup with the Westone Mini Monitor Vault and the Shanling M0, which can simply be swapped out for the Westone Dessicant Pod!
Hope that helps you in some way and you like them as much as I do! I RARELY use the nice, leather campfire audio cases because they don't offer nearly the same protection as the Westone cases and they scratch the finish off of my expensive IEM's prematurely. However if I'm just going to family or a friend's house and I know the weather is going to be nice, I'll toss my Andromedas, the Westone APT-X Bluetooth MMCX Cable and my Shanling M0 Music Player inside of the CA cases and they work just fine for that. But if you want a very protective and weatherproof case for your IEM's, that's also very small, then look no further than these 😀😜😉🎧
FOBean
They also have the larger Westone Vault case similar to the Shure case that Jaydundiditt posted above, but I don't have any experience with it either!
https://www.adorama.com/wes73074.html
And the second generation case that I've never had, that has the weird compartments inside of the case!

Look i have tried pair of iems for 10 bucks then tried another one for 50 dollar but it sounds the same so in which price range i can find or fell the diffrence
Mohannad13
No. Different league. The X is really good but the Kaiser is way better.
I bought these beautiful earphones almost a year ago. But now cable seems to be broken. Please, could you send me a replacement? I wrote to Noble support, but unfortunately no answer for a couple of days :( Thank you.

I've been using the Estron Linum G2 SuperBax and Bax MMCX Cables for the last 4+ months, and IMO they're far better than any stock cable I've ever heard and used! They also make a 2-pin version that would fit these, as well as the new T2 (aka IPX connector) that UE is now using. They are pricey ($140 with expedited shipping to the USA for the Bax cabl, and $275 with expedited shipping for the SuperBax cable), but the difference to me is COMPLETELY night and day! Even the $140 Bax cable straight SMOKES my Campfire Audio stock SPC Litz cable, and IMO WELL worth the money!
If you find a pair of IEM's and connector's that you plan on keeping for awhile, then I'd TOTALLY RECOMMEND getting one of the Linum G2 cables. The Linum Music cable is a little bit cheaper than the Bax version is, but for the extra $10 Euro, I'd definitely grab the Bax, since I can't really comment on the sound of the Linum Music cable.

Just purchased one of these beauties on eBay. I not as familiar with the eartip size. looking to upgrade, any suggestions are certainly welcomed Someone had suggested Mandarin ES Symbio wide bore?
bertrol1
I'm actually using the Symbio tips and it's very comfortable.
bertrol1
I strictly use Comply Isolation+ Memory Foam Tips with Waxguard, since they're the most comfortable and provide the best seal for me. And the Waxguard is priceless to me since it keeps ear wax and debris from entering the sound nozzles of my Nuforce and Westone IEM's (both size 100 nozzles) and my new CA Andromeda IEM's (size 400 nozzles). So I couldn't recommend them enough.
