it's not making a big hit as I expected. Why do people seem quite reluctant to join the drop?

YolomanCost? Necessity? Some misguided sense that 2 BA shouldn't cost so much? Unsure if they need a second pair of IEMs? General hesitation in spending so much?
There was only like 2.5k people requesting anyway.

YolomanI have a pair of customs and wouldn't mind picking up a cheaper pair of universals to always carry around but $250 for a 2 driver does seems ok but not great. There was a 3 driver Earsonics SM64 for $275 ($300 on Amazon right now). There are good Black Friday deals out there right now too.

YolomanI'll tell why Im reluctant to join even though I would want to 1) Its a new product which no one except a few handful have heard. Even those few reviews aren't consistent with some saying it sounds very similar to savant but others state is totally different. 2) I don't care how many drivers it has as long as the sound suits my taste. I have heard savant and I like it. So if I'm convinced it sounds closer to savant I would pull the trigger. I don't want to join just because it's Noble and the price is "reduced".

YolomanPersonally because I'll get charged for the headphones 3 months before they ship. This is also the season where I spend most on friends and family, less on myself.

YolomanIf you add the "start delivery on March 15th, 2017", this is way too long before you get the item (5 months, come on...). Basically Noble is just piling up orders before they commit to manufacture anything. I'm sure a lot more people would have commited with a much shorter delivery time.

YolomanI agree with Tienbasse. This is a terrible business practice that no one should be supporting. If they are confident in their product and feel the price point is good, then they should manufacture the damn thing and see if it sells. Instead, they are putting the entire burden on the consumer to see if we are even interested while they hold our money and twiddle their thumbs. I'm not investing this kind of money in a product that I may or may not see and may or may not like 5 months from now. It's ridiculous. I'm honestly surprised it's doing as well as it's doing.

YolomanBecause they won't be available until March, simple. And there are a ton of distractions between Black Fridays and Christmas coming.
