joegleBeing well within the estimated ship date and on track to meet that expectation means that nothing is taking so long. Everything is taking just as long as intended. Maybe your question should be 'Why will this take so long?', a very different question. But not the one you asked.

The reason this is taking to long is that everything has to be custom made. All parts must be produced on a per person basis, so once everyone is charged the order goes in and the waiting starts. Everything must be produced, shipped to Massdrop, then Massdrop must wait to receive all of the parts because many times there are different manufacturers that ship at different times.
Finally massdrop must put togeher all the options you chose and assemble them if you chose that option.

XbyforceI think it's sort of romantic... people probably just put pressure because they want to say that they're excited about the product. I would like to know what kinds of jokes the workers are cracking about us...😇
