To be, rather than to seem: It’s North Carolina’s state motto, and one adopted by local jeans maker Raleigh Denim. It stands for jeans made the old-school way—in small batches of about 300 pairs; slowly, with no automation, using hand-graded patterns and refurbished machinery from the glory days of denim in the Blue Ridge Mountains Read More
Stiff, but very nicely styled jeans. When you feel you must wash them - turn inside out, wash cold, dry low heat, and pull out while slightly damp, shake vigorously, hang on door...no ironing needed:)
In every pair of pants I've ever owned, I wear size 32. When I look at this sizing chart, does that mean I should order size 30? I don't want to deal with returns and stuff. Please let me know :)
That's a tough question because it depends on what version of true to size you adhere to. My actual waist size is 31 and in these I got a 30. But in vanity style jeans I wear 27/28 regularly. Hope this helps. Oh and you can always email them and get immediate customer support from the actual Jean makers.
I have many kinds of denim and I don't understand what vanity sizing in men is. I wear a 31 or 32 x 34 or better 36. Some fits and makers fit me better than others and sometimes it's a matter of who is judging. That said is Raleigh Denim vanity sizing by calling what measures 34" a size 32? I wear a 32 x36 and that's always bigger and shorter.
