I submitted the following inquiry the other day:
The ship date for these knives is listed as June 29. I received a postcard a few weeks ago, but as I recall it was no more than a tease - it didn't contain any meaningful information about when the knives would arrive. All I want to know is this: When should I expect $219.00 worth of cutlery (paid to you nearly four months ago) to come into my possession? I'll patiently await your thoughtful reply.
This is the Massdrop 'thoughtful reply':
"Thank you for reaching out to Massdrop. While we are working diligently to provide the best and quickest experience as possible to our members, we are still currently experiencing a high volume of requests leading to longer wait times for responses. We will respond to your message as quickly as possible and in the order in which your request was received. We apologize for any inconvenience."
Twenty-four+ hours have elapsed since I received this pseudo-reply and nothing further. I'm not 'inconvenienced'; I'm just wondering when the knives I ordered (and paid for) several months ago, will be shipped.
Is it somehow unreasonable to expect a coherent answer to a simple question?

pyronauteJust an fyi, they mentioned there was a slip in the delivery date due to a delay in materials. They were aiming for an end of July shipping date.

StickFighterI'm grateful for that information. My frustration stems from the postcard I received a few weeks ago. Why wasn't the delivery delay announced in that correspondence? It was the perfect opportunity to do so. Needless to say, I don't monitor the Massdrop site with any intensity. That's probably why I missed the delay notification. I don't recall any email(s) either.

pyronauteAlso millit knives instagram account actually occasionally provides updates with pictures. It seems like they are putting the finishing touches soon, then out to massdrop for branding then shipping

StickFighterYou have been more helpful and straightforward than Massdrop has been. (Still no 'official' response to my original inquiry.) Thanks.

pyronauteOur team sometimes gets backlogged with support requests, sorry about that. We're in touch with Millit daily and have been making the final arrangements of laser engraving, packing, and shipment. Barring any surprises, we think they will start shipping from Millit to Massdrop late next week. Once we receive them, we'll turn them around and get them out to members ASAP. Thanks for your patience, we are getting very close now!
