Received my Perpetual today. The action is very, very stiff. If you pull down the axis lock, you can not flick the knife open with your wrist. If you loosen the pivot just a little bit, so that you can pull down the axis lock and flick the knife open, you introduce quite a bit of blade play when it’s in the open and locked position. There doesn’t seem to be an ideal spot to keep the pivot tightened at...you tighten it up so that there’s no blade play when it’s in the open and locked position, and you can’t flick it out with your wrist when you pull down the axis lock, if you loosen the pivot just a little bit at a time, until you’re able to flick it out with your wrist when you pull down on the axis lock, then you are back to having a lot of blade play. Not good. The Benchmade Griptillian 550HG costs less and is much nicer than this knife. The only thing interesting about this knife to me is I don’t own a knife made with Nitro-V steel.

DougFLA123Hey @DougFLA123 sorry to hear this, we checked our QC units for exactly this issue and were very pleased with the action and tolerances. I'm going to have a few more units sent from the warehouse so that we can check them out.
So far we only have 4 support tickets for any issues, including the pocket clip, but we'll keep an eye on that. This knife is covered by Millit's warranty via Massdrop, so if you've gotten a unit with a manufacturing defect we will most definitely take care of you with a return or exchange.
