I got mine yesterday and my main problem is the microphone is too soft. I have the levels turned all the way up. I bought a Roccat Juke in the hopes of helping things, but their software suite isn't installing for some reason. But am I on the right track here - needing to get an external sound card? Just thought I'd ask before I keep heading down the Amazon.com rabbit hole. Should I definitely get one with a software suite? Or will I be okay with a less expensive kind that advertises as having no drivers? Back to my AT-M50x and Blue mic for tonight's gaming session...

wandernatUpdate: I contacted Roccat and they told me that Sennheiser's mics don't work with the Juke and to return it to Amazon. In the meantime, I bought a Sabrent USB sound adapter, which also doesn't help with the microphone problems. Actually, both products made zero sound come out of the microphone, making the problem worse, though they do both make the headphones sound better. I guess the next step is to try a sound card. Of course, this defeats the purpose of getting these headphones at such a good deal at this point.
On a positive note, the padding has loosened up and they're far more comfortable to wear than the first day. (I've been using them only as headphones and still use my Blue mic for talking to teammates.)
