Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. To be clear, you're saying the earpads are comfortable, but you're concerned about sweating on them and you find the headband uncomfortable. Right now, we only make one kind of earpad (left and right) and headband. We'd like to discuss this internally and get back to you, but could you help us out and describe how the headband is uncomfortable, and what you would change?
I also found your your comments about gaming with the HD 800 S and streaming interesting. Are you also on Head-Fi, with the same username?
For everyone else who finds the existing headband comfortable, don't worry you're not alone either ;)
PS. After writing the above but before posting I did a little research and found your gsp 300 and 600 series. They seem to have all the features I desire and will very likely be my next headset purchase. Seeing that, please feel free to ignore my previous statements or take them as positive feedback that you are meeting the needs of this customer!
