Hi folks. I have ordered the small/medium pack, but now that I have seen the Q&A video I think that the medium/large would be better suited for me. Is there by chance someone out there that bought the M/L and wants to change to S/M ? If so, let me know, and we'll try to work the change with the help of the support team.
AHAPHey Mate, I literally sent Massdrop an email a few weeks ago asking to do this swap (i.e. my M/L for a S/M). If you are still keen I would love to do this.

butter-nutsHi, I got a reply from MD saying that they cannot swap between the bags, as the process is automated, etc. It kind of seems to me that they are only going through the motions. I wrote them again and asked them to please see if they could make a special effort in order to help us. We'll see how it goes.
AHAPYeah, I got the same message. A little disappointing. They told me we should just swap after they are delivered... Which isn't that easy considering I live in Australia

The "Mate" gave you away :-) In any case I wrote several times, but the bottom line is that they are very strict, and unwilling to move an inch out of the box. They cannot swap between the bags as it causes "errors and confusion in ther warehouse" and they are not willing to let me contact the vendor directly because of privacy issues. Whatever. I checked shipping costs to Australia from Israel, and it is around 20 USD (assuming the package weight is under 1 kg). I do not know how much shipping costs are the other way around, but I totally understand if it's something you do not want to consider due to the added costs and waiting time. It was worth trying.
AHAPI just got another response saying "we are unable to breach our policies to make this change"... Pretty disappointing, and I don't really understand why they can't considering you can change delivery addresses on orders (which is essentially all we are trying to do).
butter-nutsSame here. It's driving me nuts (pun intended, I think...). They make it sound like we're asking them to split an atom or something. I'm making a last effort, but I'm not optimistic. If by miracle they agree, I'll of course let you know.
AHAPYeah I tried one last time as well. They told me they were "escalating this email up to our supervisor". Let's see how it goes, although I don't hold out much hope.
butter-nutsJust heard from the Supervisor. He said that since is a somewhat irregular case, they will be contacting the warehouse to see if the swap is possible. The answer will arrive around the 12 of this month. Hope returns...
