shimageyeah but the LCX is essentially a liquid carbon in Massdrop attire, this is an entirely new design. The lack of reviews from people I know, the comments that "things might change" from THX, along with the longest lead time I have yet seen from a MD collaboration caused me to drop out. Well those and the Noble K10 dropping again... :)

ElectronicVicesLCX was the same sort of amp from a different maker and with an entirely different power supply. The sort of person that values listening impressions of amps should have wanted reviews of that amp too. Supposedly, there are measurements coming from Jude, for whatever that's worth.

HeeftyThe tech was also used in the Benchmark AHB2 but that is a speaker amp and a few years old at this point... I haven't checked that thread in a while but last I looked Marv was the only one with any real impressions in and he speaks to it in reference to the Jotunheim. As I don't own that amp and Marv certainly has his biases, I am going to stay out of the drop until more reviews/measurements show up. Shimage is splitting hairs on the LCX vs Liquid Carbon... different power supply and made in China... same topology as the original... the only thing we have to compare this to is a speaker amp that can be polarizing based on the reviews I've read. I am just going to pickup a Cayin IHA-6 in a couple months... plenty of consensus/opinions on that one.

HeeftyHoping to have some more samples in time for the Los Angeles CanJam April 7th/8th. Sorry it has been slow getting some graphs up from Jude- they have been prepping for Singapore CanJam this weekend...
