Hi Everyone! Good news. The Massdrop x USDG 12.5oz Indigo Selvage Denim has arrived at the warehouse, and we’re planning on sending the jeans out a bit early. They are currently undergoing quality control checks, and we expect them to ship by the end of next week.
We’re looking forward to everyone receiving the first production of the Massdrop x USDG 12.5oz Indigo Selvage Denim!
Hey Everyone,
Thanks for your interest in this limited launch of our collaboration with United Stock Dry Goods. Over the last few years, USDG has gained a strong following in the raw denim community for their unique fabrics and flattering Narrow fit. Their fabrics are all sourced from small mills in Okayama, Japan and the jeans are constructed in Toronto,Canada. Their company principles are Honesty, Quality, and Integrity, values that align with the enthusiast community on Massdrop and at large.
Massdrop x USDG 12.5oz Indigo - This is an ideal start to your raw denim journey. The 12.5oz weight means they’ll break in and get comfortable fast. The rope dyeing process ensures a great spectrum of fades (as you can see from our pictures showing how these look new, and how these look after a year of wear). The quality Canadian construction and american-made YKK hardware will keep them together fpr for years of great fades.
This drop will launch on December 13 at 6am PT with only 235 units available. Thanks again for your interest and we’ll be checking in to answer questions throughout the drop.
Got mine today-unfortunately, too small for me. I got the sz 30, and really need their sz 32. So, if anyone wants to swap, please let me know!

Never mind-MassDrop took care of an exchange, and did it super fast. I am very impressed with their service.
Now, the jeans-very nice, a nice cut, and different enough from what I have already (mostly Gustin) so a nice addition to the closet. Very happy with these!
these different from the naked and famous ones?
man, can we get some stuff for adults?
How do these jeans compare to the Sennheiser HD650?!?!?! .....Asking for a friend.
Check these out! https://www.massdrop.com/vote/Hiut-Denim
Still no inseam length options....(sigh, pass).....otherwise better cut then the "weirdo" carrot leg look.
Compassionator
lol
carrot leg
so true it hurts.
Hi, can someone advise on the sizing..I alway wear size 33 in levis and I measure my waist is 38..what size shuld I purchase for this.
TIA
RamliYusoff
Any size, because you apparently have a very compressible waist!
RamliYusoff
These fit TTS. The waist will stretch a bit with wear but they're not vanity sized like APCs. I have no idea how you wear 33 Levi's if your waist is 38. Maybe you need to remeasure your waist?
Is it just me or do the pants in the "one-year" images have a hole torn right in the seat?
MichaelHeartless
it appears so haha
they might want to change the picture...
MichaelHeartless
Lol it appears so. Super durable!
Probably THE most uncomfortable jeans you'd never want to wear. As a jeans aficianado for many years, I'd stay away from these scratchy, very hard to wear jeans. I still think the best are Ralph Lauren Polo, and, hard to believe some of the pre-2017 A&F stretch jeans for men. My advice, stay away from these.

I was joking with you about SF and asking a question re a particular RRL run based on your (and/or other members') experience.

Some SF members can be prickly, but it's still a valuable resource. So is Ask Andy; so is superdenim.

The Tommy White Tie Forums have been down for years, but members regularly conveyed sartorially obsessive info without being dogmatic or judgmental -- a feat that very few hobbyists or forums of any kind can manage.

This site can be fun re retro, vintage and secondhand clothes:

About our exchange:

When several people answer a potentially inflammatory comment, it can look to the OP as though all of the respondents are miffed and their replies are humorless. Then the sense of alarm passes and the levity becomes more apparent (or so I hope while spinning a hypno disc in your general direction).

Regarding your question on RRL denim, I'm not sure myself as I'm not a following their denim line closely. Maybe some others here may be able to point you to the right direction.

Agreed on their sartorial obsession, it's crazy how they avoid world war with all those snobbish comments thrown around. I personally find them very informative, doesn't hurt to learn.

Well, I have numbers on my office comp right now which is more like a lullaby rather than hypno disc.
The DARK INDIGO blue dye comes off on everything.... especially the the hands, keep a smart phone in your back pocket and a light colored case will take on a bluish hue to it from the die.
