So this was fun to put together and very straightforward even with zero soldering experience. Anyone have guidance on how to de-solder an led I accidentally flipped the wrong way? (Otherwise works perfectly as a home for my artisans).
My plan is to re-program for Diablo 3 / HOTS quick keys, just for grins.

JELLYMUSHERThere's stuff called desoldering wick which you can find pretty much anywhere online that would help with that. It soaks up solder so you can redo it.

JELLYMUSHERLook really nice. My personal favorite is the desoldering pump, but it take a little practice.

JELLYMUSHERI also prefer the vacuum desoldering pump for quick fixes. If you decide to use the desoldering wick, you should also get a flux pen (actually any flux/rosin will work, but I think having it in a pen makes it easier to apply, personally). A little bit of flux on the wick will help draw the solder into the wick. I've never really had ANY luck with wick for getting up enough solder to actually do a useful job, but the flux pen helps me get a bit closer.

MybloebyIt is actually the cable that shipped with my MasterKeys Pro S (I love it but want to get one with blues). I am not sure if you can order just a replacement cable from them? I am actually going to replace with a straight cable since it works better with my current work-space. http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/keyboards/masterkeys-pro-s/

JELLYMUSHERWould recommend getting some desoldering wick/braid and a desoldering pen. The wick/braid could be found anywhere, I got mine from a RadioShack. As for the pen, I got mine from a ebay for cheap.

JELLYMUSHERIt helps to get someone to assist you. You can hold the circuitboard and re-heat the solder from the underside. At the same time your buddy can grab the LED from the topside (with tweezers, it gets hot!!) and carefully pull on it. Once the solder gets hot enough to reflow, the LED will pop out. If nessecary you can clean up the pcb hole with desolder pump afterwards.

Dino_MartinoThanks I'll have to try again I was having no luck with desoldering braid, I do have a friend with a desoldering gun so I'll try that as well.
