Made in Japan’s cutlery capital, Seki City, the MCUSTA M7 is small, sophisticated, and made from premium materials. It features a 2.75-inch blade made from 33-layered nickel Damascus with a core of VG-10 steel—a high-carbon-content steel manufactured in Japan. Made from stamina wood with a red hue, the handle is a good complement to the blade and liners. The scales are slightly smaller than the liners too, creating a unique look and feel in the hand. Dimpling throughout offers a secure grip and gives the knife a shimmering look when held in different light. Slip it in the included Nishijin pouch when on the go.
Note: At checkout, choose between Cocobolo, Ebony Wood, or Stamina Wood. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
Since the mid-thirteenth century, Seki City has been the cutlery hub of Japan. Thanks to its close proximity to rich sources of iron sand, charcoal, and water, it was a natural choice for skilled craftsman of old, and remains so today. MCUSTA, located in Seki City, blends traditional artistry with modern technology. Each of its knives is laser cut, CNC machined, and assembled and finished by hand to ensure the utmost quality.
