These are adorable but they're almost too small to use. They would be great if you need a set of travel dice that can easily fit in your pocket and play on an airplane table, especially for the price, but these wont be my daily rollers. I'm not even going to test if they're fair, they're just a great novelty item. I might make them into an art piece to display with my minis.

Got all the colours of the last drop. I've repainted the legends on three: Marbled Green/Light Green, Marbled Purple/Teal, and Marbled Red/Black all with white acrylic paint. Greatly increased their readability in quick tosses. The four Marbled Black with different colour legends are fairly readable as is, and wouldn't be easy to recolour to a single legend colour.
If you want to paint the legends, it's fairly easy, but expect dry time between sides (probably 4-5 paint sessions). Just get an acrylic hobby paint (such as Apple Barrel) and a fine brush. Glob paint into a few numbers and hand wipe of the faces with a paper towel. It will leave the paint in the legends and clean off the faces. You may have to spot check a two.
With this small of dice, MDG needs to really pick readability of colours over appearance.

Smaller than you think they'll be, reeeeeeeeeeeeeally hard to read in dim/dark settings. Good color contrast, I got the black/white with various color letters. I recommend going for higher contrast patterns or having a flashlight when you play in dim light. No real complaints, for $15 and free shipping I'm happy with this.

I love these little guys. Some of the ink/color is a little hard to read, but after re-inking they were perfect. I don't play with them too often, but they seem to roll well.
