The picture is misleading; the included starter is the original starter, and is only enough on its own for 1 person to start playing the game (but the booster packs fix that). I do recommended picking up the AoD Starter (if you can find it) if you're new to the game. It has a much better way to learn and includes more miscellaneous stuff.
A few of my mechs were busted, but for this price for a grossly out-of-print product, I really cant complain
