I really wanted to like these. I love a good, crisp V-sound, but this is just lacking. The highs aren't nearly as pronounced as you would think when someone says "V-sound". The bass, although punchy like everyone says, is just so incredibly muddy. No, messy. I bought a pair of $30 Skullcandy IE headphones not too long ago, and they are much better. Seriously, the clarity is a little sad. These make my FLAC files sound like 128kbs mp3s. I loved my M6's and thought this would be a step up, and I was so wrong.
