Buyers should know that in addition to being antique, these dice are organic, officially licensed, shade-grown, limited edition, paleo, and last but not least, tactical. Remember: words mean whatever you want them to. If this vendor has chosen antique to mean "lightly distressed," that's what it means.

These antique silver dice were first used in 1775 by the United States founding father Benjamin Franklin to play a dwarven bard in the campaign that eventually sparked the American Revolution. Following a disagreement with the GM George the III on how everyone has to chip in to buy snacks but only George got to choose the snacks, the game was eventually abandoned to chants of "No Snaxation without Representation."

Has this shipped? The radio silence is a bit disconcerting.

Ordered the white ones last week and they are horrible. No where near what I was expecting and look more like a joke/project made by kids in elementary school. All the corners are extremely uneven. Would probably end up getting disadvantage from my DM for putting those out on the table. Customer service yet to respond to my complaint as well. Hopefully they're more content than the creators of these dice.

PhamTasticI had the same problems with the white metallic dice from last week. I've attached some pictures of the ones I received.

LegoDesignerYea mine look very similar. Some edges rounded, some sharp, some with edges that look like this \_/. Going to upload pictures tonight and send to them as well. Some numbers are offset/practically reach around to another side where the next number is set to be. Very disappointed. Friends of mine with similar metal die have precise numbers/edges and extremely consistent and clean.

I want to encourage future Droppers to look closely at the picture and be sure you're getting what you expect. I didn't examine the picture closely enough, and thus didn't realize that these dice don't match the other metal sets I've ordered via Massdrop. (The edges are sharper, the numbers are smaller, despite being listed at 16mm the dice seem smaller, and they look more machined and industrial.)

JeffWilderYes I wasn't too thrilled with that either. I bought the Antique Copper set and it was fine. No reason this set should be different.

.... and $38.40 to New Zealand. I questioned the shipping on other dice last time, and they had input the weight incorrectly. Come on Massdrop, this mistake is on-going!

Still, 16mm does seem a bit on the small side...

Huh. I actually went and measured my standard set, and you're right. Though 16mm is the size of the d6, other dice are a bit bigger but the smallest edge is ~16mm +/- tolerance.
I somehow felt they were actually bigger. I stand corrected, thank you for that!

McSteelI think they traditionally use the size of the D6 as the "scale" of the set, as it's the simplest to measure without having calipers.

This dice set is as "antique" as the iPhone 5.
