I wouldn't say the Mighty blows the Air out of the water... But it's all personal preference, experience level aside. You are 100% right on vapor temp. The Mighty also has a fair amount less resistance to the pull. Which is nice, but not $150 nice. I certainly don't think size of clouds between the two are much different. The Air is not meant to be sipped at all. In my experience the opposite has proven true. The Air actually requires a longer and harder pull, but produces a thicker, same size cloud. The Mighty requires almost no effort in pull to produce the same sized clouds. In my experience these clouds tend to be a thinner vapor with the Mighty. Cloud size and vapor quality being too close to call. Both are easily capable of making you cough heavily... These are a couple of my observations in a side by side comparison having both units running simultaneously. All other variables held constant. Room temp, flowers, and lighting (used to observe vapor clouds), etc.... (Blowing vapor clouds in front of lights above my desk to see size and density of vapor clouds.) Neither of them stack up to a desktop bag/fan unit. Nor do any other portable vaporizers on the market. Reason being the consistency of air flow, over and through your flowers, will never be as consistent as a fan. Hence the fan speed option on some desktop units. A slower, more consistent pull equals heavier or thicker vapor. Lighter pull equates to thinner, or lighter vapor... The Mighty does in fact vape flowers more evenly than the Air at first glance. But under a microscope things look very similar. The ABV in both cases are very well vaped and are very close in color.... Under the microscope the exploded or spent trichomes are very similar in number. Both are very similar in performance as far as vapor production. Both do a great job of delivering rips. The mighty has a much larger bowl. This can be a good thing in certain situations. It can also hurt the pocketbook. Both things that need to be considered. Another difference would be the auto timer that shuts off each unit. Both have auto shut off features to reserve battery life. The mighty every minute and the air every 10 minutes. Both get annoying over time. There is a long list of give and takes, pros and cons, but I won't any further into that. IMHO nothing about the Mighty constitutes a $150 price difference.
Having said that...
I would say that these are the two best portable vaporizing units on the market.
The bells and whistles on the Mighty are fine, but in my opinion not worth the extra $150. Just more things to potentially go wrong, clean or break. If you like to tinker the mighty might be for you.. But both do a fine job for portable vaporizers.
I am sure some have found more pleasure in the mighty than they have the Air. Which is not wrong, just a different take. Again all personal preference.... But there is not a world of difference between the Mighty and the Air. Especially in cloud size. Both are fine products and produce good clouds. Which in my opinion is the most important thing to look for in a vaporizer. These are honest differences I have found on my vaping journey. I would just like to save people some reading/research/time, money and frustration. I have spent plenty of time and money on vaporizers over the last few years and these are my personal findings. You really can't go wrong with either unit.
