Out family watch @ a good value

I love Mondaines because of their association with Swiss Railways. My family loves them since we first visited Switzerland in 2006. I had lost my original Mondaine and replaced it with this one. Even though it is a quartz watch (I prefer automatics), it does a great job keeping time and having the modern, clean look I love. I bought 3 of these, one each for me, my son, and my daughter. We all wear them regularly, even though we all have more expensive and higher-profile watches. There's just something special about the Mondaine. If I had to put something in the "Con" category, it's that the battery life tend to be less than a year, which is sub-optimal. Small price to pay, though.
