Product Description
In 1944, Swiss engineer Hans Hilfiker designed what would go on to become the Official Swiss Railway Clock, which featured an easy-to-read dial with large black stick markers and a bright red seconds hand. About 40 years after the clock’s debut, Mondaine received official license from the Swiss Federal Railways to use this design as a tribute to Swiss watchmaking tradition Read More

Kinda want but with the stop2go movement turning up in a wall clock I'm wondering if I should wait for a stop2go version of this.

No sapphire crystal? No helium escape valve? Nice try, Mondaine, but no sale.

I bought this fussy, underpowered Black+Decker hand vacuum on sale, and it soured me on orbs.

This is indeed a minuscule item, the size of a pebble. Can be used surreptitiously on a corner of a desk, but really not that useful. Mondaine makes a larger model with alarm, that is perfect for desk or night stand use; hopefully we'll get that in another drop!

Joined the drop, but that was before I saw how small the clock really is. It's too small for me, though I like the way it looks.

I really, really dig the looks of the clock... only wish it had an alarm option, would make it perfect for the bedroom. Without it, makes it suitable to use on a desk in the office, or possibly in a living room, but much less convenient than a wall clock for the later option.
Am hesitant now... should I get it for my office desk?

AleskbAt 2.4 inches it is basically a small ball... you may as well use your regular watch for that purpose. Also, looks like it can be easily knocked down from the table or a nightstand since there is almost no flat surface contact point on the case.

brainwaveYeah I read the dimensions after posting my comment and thought the same thing... But it's so pretty! :p Probably won't end up buying it though, X-Mas period means every penny spent needs super strong gas behind it... Am not just there yet on this one!

Does this clock make a ticking sound? Is it loud? Thanks.
