Love this pen, though should have bought a finer nib
I bought the broad nib having always been using another brand with a broad nib. Well, I find that the broad on this one is REALLY broad, for me anyway. I love this pen, writes great and very smooth. Unfortunately it won't be an everyday writer for me given how broad it is. I still whip it out regularly when I'm signing documents. Love it.
Edit: I actually love it so much that I bought a second one, the turquoise one with the fine nib. I actually love this one even more as I love the color. Got a nice turquoise ink to go with it, and I use this one daily!

I love the nib! It is big, slightly flexible, very comfortable and easy writing, not too wet. The design of the pen was the original attraction for me, and up close, it certainly did not disappoint me - I love the marbled black and white pattern as well as the simple smooth body design. Very happy to finally have my first Montegrappa pen, and at a very fair price too!

Great writing experience out of the box. I believe these pens use Jowo #6 nibs, extremely smooth and tends to be on the wetter side with my broad nib.

I heard horror stories about these nibs, but the price was good so I took a chance on the fine point. The pen is beautiful, and the nib is glass smooth, if slightly dry. Very pleased with this pen.
