I got a fine nib, and it was so scratchy out of the box that it cut the paper. Very dry, too. I ended up finding a replacement nib in medium, and deepened the feed channel for better ink flow. If you don't mind tinkering with your pens, this is OK. But out of the box, I almost returned it!

I'm very pleased with this drop. Price was fantastic. Fortuna pens are two to three times as much everywhere else. It feels slippery in my hand, but it's heavy enough that it's not really a problem. I ordered a medium nib and it is finer than I expected--or maybe I should say it's more precise than expected--that may take some getting used to. I filled it with Diamine Bilberry ink and it flows nicely. The tip is longer than most of my other pens and that makes it feel very palatial, very beautiful to look at while writing. I'm looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this pen!

Just received it today and have been trying it out. this Pen feels well made. It’s a medium weight pen, lighter than my Regatta but Heavier than most of my other pens. I got the med. nib (currently inked with Birmingham Grant Street Weathered Brick) and it seems to run a bit on the dry side. *will update if other inks prove otherwise* over all, it looks great, feels great and writes well. :) so happy to have added this pen to my collection
