I got the pink one and the ink is drying out too often. Feels very scratchy and cheap, but that's what you're paying for.

I bought one of these about 10 or 12 years ago at an office supply store. It has a #6 nib, didn't come with a converter but had included 2 international cartridges of blue and black ink. My pen is a two-tone (red/black) finish, and the section is truly comfortable for long writing sessions. It accepts large international ink cartridges. The Medium nib was a tiny bit scratchy, but I smoothed it out by drawing loops on a brown lunch bag for less than a minute. I had one problem with it, the ink was drying in the nib. I noticed there is no inner cap, and there is a hole where the clip is attached to the cap. So I filled said hole with a couple of drops of wax, and voilá, no more problem. Another detail is that my pen (which is probably an older model) has a nib unit that is fused together and impossible to disassemble. Also the cap cannot post securely, although is not troublesome since the pen is kind of large in length. It's comparable in size to TWSBI diamond 580 & Faber-Castell Loom, but with a nice bigger nib and very comfortable section. I still love my Aldo Domani, and is still writing beautifully to this very day.

If you're into pink a fine nib point and are not picky about two tone nibs. Hate to burst MD Bubble... Yes limited quantities on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/MONTEVERDE-Aldo-Domani-Fountain-Pen/dp/B077NMSLWQ/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1544211290&sr=8-16&keywords=monteverde+Aldo+domani+fountain+pen This is a good price for this fountain pen from MD but medium nib only offer is not for me.

Looks like a Monteverde equivalent to the Pilot Metropolitan series, and that's a pretty good thing.

I haven't been familiar with fountain pens for very long but I fell deep into the rabbit hole between joining this drop and the time it took to receive the pen. (I went from "It's pink and I want it" to "Oh. What do I do with this now?")
There's not much online about it, though from what I can gather it appears to be Monteverde branding on an existing model of pens, but in different colours. It came in a nice box with all the other bits and warranty info in it. The converter has a little metal ball agitator in it that I lost the first time I cleaned it, so watch out for that if it's something you care about.
Nib is a standard steel #6. It was scratchy (I got it in F) but writes fine after a bit of smoothing on micromesh. It's not really an exciting pen but it's a cute colour, has a bit of decent weight to it, and can take a variety of different #6 nibs if you feel like swapping out the stock nib.

I have a Monteverde ball point that was a gift from my son. It is quality on all counts. I love this pen and the price is very good. Fountain pens are my favorite writing tool and I love writing letters with them.

Does anyone have one of these pens? I've never had a Monteverde and was curious what users thought of them... Like that pale pink. Not alot of $$, so may have to try it.
