So, um...roughly 20 bucks worth of stuff for ~53 (best price)? Hrm - decisions, decisions. You'd think this would be a tough one. Actually, it's not. Not bagging on you here Massdrop. You're offering a good price (comparatively speaking) - but I personally can't see spending this much for this little. Hope others disagree (for those that are interested in the drop), good luck.

outofmemoryNot sure what you are referring to by being worth $20, but the price for this knife on Amazon is $69. Is there something about Morakniv in general or specifically this knife that those of us who aren't knife experts should know?

UnixgalI think that he's referring to the point that you can get a similar Mora Companion MG knife on here for about $10. It's not the same exact blade, but comparable. And this drop just adds extras like a fire starter and a sharpening stone which would be cheaper, if less streamlined, to buy separate. If you were trying to get something similar, I'd grab a regular Mora Companion or something , a $7 fire-steel and a $10 sharpening stone and you'd be set for about half the price. Again, not streamlined or cool or all-in-one or anything, but cheaper for sure.

AustinVThe drop doesn't actually add anything, you can buy this exact same package from Amazon but it's $70 there. Mora overpriced this because people buy it like crazy and it's one of only two knives they make with a 90deg spine, the other being the Light My Fire Morakniv.

tehbizzActually I think its even cheaper if you buy it directly from their website.

chakesonYou can't buy from Mora directly, you have to use a distributor.
