When it comes to this book I pre-ordered the limited edition art cover copy but the book overall I feel is a great edition to the universe of D&D, its art is inspiring and beautiful, tons of lore is added and the monsters themselves are catered to your more higher level parties with most monsters being CR 6+ and a bunch in the upper CRs, sadly the most powerful only goes up to a CR 26. If you are looking for some darker, creepier, and more brutal monsters then this beauty is for you!

I had literally bought it from Amazon 7 hours before, so I almost threw my phone through my window in rage after seeing the email. Then I saw the price. gbreedco is right, it's cheaper on Amazon and if you have Prime, you don't need to pay for shipping. Or to wait an absurdly long time for the drop to finish and eventually ship.

gbreedcoWhat I don't understand is how anyone can sell it for <$30. Cost directly from WotC is like $27.

ExothermicBecause those who purchase direct from WotC can get better deals in bulk so they can flood the market. Its the same idea for Magic cards as well. One of the reasons why local stores are closing around me.
