It was a fun intro into brewing. I enjoyed using it, but it's basically brewing for dummies. You dont actually brew anything. The wort is basically sent to you in concentrate, and you add it to hot water. The canister that says "Northwest" in the picture is a can of syrup (The concentrated wort). That's instead of brewing hop, barley, and malts to make wort. After adding it to water you put it in the keg, add yeast, and let it sit. They take away the more complicated part of brewing.
I had never brewed before, so a brewing for dummies kit was good for learning. The beer wasnt great, but who's to say I did it as well as i could have. Now Id like to branch out into actually brewing the wort first, choosing my own hops.
