ElarandirI have Chinese market original fluke, it's very good and only 100usd or there about. However, it's not sonething Fluke want sold outside of China, so massdrop would have to find 'grey' market suppliers for it. Any official fluke reseller in the Western markets would face some unpleasant backlash from Fluke if they supplied the CN market Fluke products to massdrop or other USA/Canada/eu based retailers online or otherwise..

MrbadabingSo is there some reason people want a Chinese market original fluke over the international version?

MooTatersFair bit of savings, that was my deciding factor. Fluke are over priced in Australia, like most imported items. So I bought Chinese market version from eBay. Model 17B+. Pretty happy with it and build quality seems miles better than other offerings from China.

MrbadabingYeah, I figured that might be a reason...though I can imagine it really depends on the country. I mean unless they do like some companies and artificially inflate the US price, I couldn't see it being much higher priced in the US. Understandable though for Australia, almost always boned there. Others seemed to be interested in the Chinese market original as well, so that's why I thought there might be something special about it.
