As powerful and noble as its name would suggest, the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 TI Duke is built on MSI’s efficient Pascal architecture to meet the next generation of games with a bang. It delivers a core clock of 1645 MHz, which is enough power to take on any game in your collection Read More
MetahumanPretty sure you'll see some sales on black friday but they'll be tough to get into ;) You know how it is, limited quantities available and such... kinda like here but at least MD doesn't force you to line up in front of B&M store overnight to get into a deal... for now :D
AnzialThose lines are nuts and people are ruthless to get those deals! I have literally seen people get trampled and ran over just to get a laptop or a tv. No thanks.
BraintissueMy first experience: Opening up Forza Horizons 3, putting every option at Ultra/ High, and wow...it's like a whole new game. The fans weren't even spinning up because it was exerting so little effort/power/heat. The whole thing really blew me away!
I hope you get one soon too!
The 1080ti strix is actually the quietest of the air coolers that i've seen. at least more quiet than the gaming X, but the gaming X is an amazing card. it's not gonna be as cool as liquid. That's just not possible, you can come close probably, with a super loud fan speed, but there's no point in that. the 1080ti's and pascal cards in general only step down 12mhz every 10c or so and a 50mhz difference from one card to the next because of temps is going to make zero difference in gaming performance.
gangsteroysterI have the MSI 1080 Duke GTX, not the TI, but I believe they look the same outside.
If they do, the side that shows has a "Duke" changing LED light. I believe you can set the color in the MSI bundled software which I haven't installed myself. I like my PC silent and light-less. I put it in a Corsair 600Q black case.
