gasmaskdudeI ordered this DROP and have not received it yet... but to answer your question... I think what happens is that people who have had bad experiences are more vocal than those who don't have any problems... and rightly so. I scanned the internet for good and bad comments. There are some really good comments from loyal fans... and there are a lot of comments that are mirrored in the negative comments left here. I guess I am playing the 50/50 game... will I get burned? I don't know. Because people who get burned are more vocal... I cannot tell if their products have any higher incidents of defects than other computers... or if these people are just part of percentage of customers who have defects in their MSI products.

SpikeUCFWith all tech products you can get a 'lemon' so to speak. Its the risk you take for the lower price. If you dont want to deal with these issues i suggest you buy a nice alienware from dell directly. Best gaming machine in terms of hardware with exceptional customer support.
