"Dual GeForce GTX1070 [SLI]"
That seems like a recipe for disaster. Spend all this money on a highend, heavy gaming laptop only to spend your days fighting SLI compatibility issues. A single 1080 or 1080ti would probably be a far better use of energy/heat/space/money...
Review using 1080TI in SLI for an idea of possible issues:
"Out of the 25 games that we tested, 9 do not scale at all, 2 more games have mixed scaling results depending on resolution, and one more game (TW Warhammer) needs to be played in DX11 as it scales negatively in DX12. ... games that benefit will sometimes have some dramatic performance increases, often from 20% to sometimes nearly 90%."

DonMystPeople who buy laptops typically have a good reason. Desktop does not equal laptop.
Quite simple concept really. Laptop=portable, and some unique designs and compact, hence the price is always higher then the equivalent desktop.
6th generation Intel processor is outdated. 7th gen. processors should be standard on devices by now, plus, Intel just announced its 8th generation literally this week.
whomad1215This model is GTX 1070 SLI model, so it does justify the higher pricing. Probably better setup than their GT83VR SLI models, since 18.4" can be quite big. Good for those who want the SLI in a 17.3" form factor with great cooling system.
