The world’s first gaming laptop powered by GeForce GTX 1070 SLI GPU, this powerhouse delivers 50 percent more performance compared with single GPU solutions. Powered by an Intel Core i7-6820HK processor, it has plenty of power for gaming, working, and running multiple applications Read More
The description is wrong for the SLI-023. Setting aside the RAID 4 oddity (why oh why when RAID 5 is an option), it claims 4 256gb drives which should give you 768gb of usable data. So either the 512gb claim is false or more likely it only has 3 256gb drives.
Again..... why RAID 4??
I honestly really like the idea of having a mechanical keyboard in a laptop, but the rest of the stuff is just nonsense to inflate the price. I wish they would release another model with just the keyboard that's more of an entry-level laptop, for a "traveling writer" sort of use case.
This laptop is an ugly, clunky, overpriced piece of shit. Those thick ass bezels make me want to stab people at MSi. Just buy a mini itx case with a handle, its not like this thing is actually portable.
SurgicalJust wait until hear how loud it is on "normal" fan speed. If you're on the phone while using this your friends will swear you're out on the tarmac next to a running F-16
I see this in my email just after watching Linus Tech Tips review the GT83VR Titan SLI-212 and I'm not sold.
Here's LTT's video.

Is there any possibility to change 2x1070 with 1x1080 ? I don't like to use SLI configs in a laptop, and why to use 2 when there is a better 1 card alternative.
(I currently have a 2x980m, previous gen and as a gamer I would say is not a viable solution for laptops)
Virgil_NI have the same MSI SLI 980 that you probably have and I find it only is an advantage if the games are optimized for SLI and then it's not much better. I bought mine and 1 month to the date where I couldn't return it the new version came out with g-sync with 120 hz panels. Go figure!
