is the stand just a black circle? or am I missing something. Like does it actually act as a stand not just something that the pen will just roll off of?

delance26I ordered one of these in the last drop.
@sehrgut it writes instantaneously like a pencil. I would suggest it is metal alloy rubbing off onto paper, not an oxidising reaction.
@delance26 it acts like a stand and is indented so that the pencil sits in there nicely.
@Jamaas the writing is incredibly light, so much so that I don't find it useful for very much. You can get a line that represents a light line from a HB lead, but only if you press VERY hard.
@PickledGinger because of this I would suggest that it is not very suitable for sketching.
