regrettable useless price for me, just the customs charges would make it more expensive then buying in it a store locally.
Just want to mention as i previously did. If something breaks on your robot you can expect it to be out for atleast a month for a repair. The company currently doesnt service the robot in house and sends it to a company called Funai that has abysmal customer server. Mine was actually out for 5 months and they kept giving me the run around when i tried to get an update on it. Then i had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get it resolved and they would send me a message through BBB saying it would be shipped out the next day in hopes I would close the ticket but they actually ended up sending it out a month later. If Neato Robotics does not do something about the repair service I could not recommend this product, especially with the frequency of the robot breaking.
What's with this price? It's $410 on Amazon, Best Buy. Why would anyone want to buy it at $600?

@icepenguin is correct. Thank you for that. You are looking at very different models. This is the top of the line. Please make sure you are comparing apples to apples as posting in the community discussion that this model can be found for $410 somewhere else can be confusing to members.
If in fact someone is beating us in price we for sure want to know about it as we can most likely get a better cost/price for the community. However in this case we are the lowest price out there.

The names don't seem very meaningful to me and I can't really tell the differences between the models.
I wouldnt take one of these vacuums if someone gave it to me for free at this point. My BotVac D80 has been at the repair shop that Neato Robotics recommends for 4 months and no updates or information on its current situation. Maybe if Neato Robotics found a better repair company but this is just ludicrous.
Ill repeat what I've said in the past. Ive had this robot for about 2 and a half years. Had few problems with it then this year I've had to send it back in 3 times for repairs. The last two times I have done so the robot has been out at the repair vendor for over a month. If i have to send it again I might as well have just bought another robot for the cost of the repairs.
What about shipment to Israel and countries other than the US?
This is a solid robot vacuum.
Does this one make sandwiches and give cat rides?
I noticed this product is only available to be delivered in the States. How about in Asia, Singapore?
I received my vacuum on Friday.. It was a nice surprise but it would've been nice to be notified and have the tracking number before it arrived as it wouldn't have spent hours getting wet in the rain. Fortunately the vacuum did not get wet as far as I can tell but it could've been damaged or stolen... Not cool massdrop...

Had mine for about a month now and thought I'd leave some thoughts for the rest of you considering this drop in the future.
Pros: - My house has never been cleaner. Set it to run twice a week and the hardwood floors and area rugs are always free of debris and general grit that tends to accumulate otherwise - I'm seriously impressed with how much crap it manages to find in a single run, even with a 2x weekly schedule in place
Cons: - ~~No~~ firmware updates, despite bugs in the software. Mine wouldn't connect to the WiFi initially because the WPA2 key was too long and/or too complex. Instead of giving me an error, the entire robot would completely freeze up, requiring a factory reset just to recover. It took considerable trial and error to resolve, and Support was not very helpful: "We know this bug and might fix it, but who knows when" was basically their response. EDIT: A firmware update was released! - Occasionally launches itself down the staircase, despite the sensors being clean and presumably operational. - ~~No App notifications!~~ Seriously, what the heck! If it gets stuck, needs a bin change, or ends up down the staircase, all you're going to get is a "beeep boooop!", no status updates or notifications via the app whatsoever. EDIT: Ok, so I'm getting some notifications. Seemy reply comment below. - No remote control if the robot is on a different SSID as the mobile device. Not that I have much use for this feature to begin with, but thought I'd mention it. - No IFTTT integration.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase however if I had to do it again, I'd have saved the cash and gotten the D85 model (no WiFi) instead. Until Neato Robotics starts putting real functionality into this aspect of the product, it's just a waste of money IMO to get the WiFi model. Even something as simple as integrating with IFTTT like Samsung has, would be worth it to me to then pay extra for the WiFi model.

I contacted support, and it sounds like I should be getting more notifications than I was. That said, Neato released a firmware update (2.2.0) last week, and that has since resolved my notification issues, and also introduced a new feature where the app will show you the floorplan map of your house as seen from the robot's sensors - now when the robot gets stuck, the notification includes a thumbnail of my home with a little marker showing where the robot is stuck - considerably more useful than before. If Neato keeps up adding features along these lines then they stand to add considerably more value to their product in my opinion.
One of my ultimate 'wish list' features would be the ability to assign a name and maybe boundaries to the floorplan, so I can then tell the robot to 'go clean the kitchen' and not have to pick him up and move him there.

That's my ultimate wish list item too. The magnetic strips work, but having named sections is way better. Having seen what they've added, I guess it's pretty reasonable to hope for this feature.

It's can be cheaper at Bed Bath and Beyond its $699 with the 20% coupon you only pay $559.20 plus tax at 7% is 598.34 only $2 cheaper but if your sales tax is less then that it's a better deal
Anyone outside of the US purchasing? I'm from Australia and half tempted... Just postage and warranty might make it hard.

I have an old XV-11 that's still chugging along. Neato, at least in the US, has been great in customer care and warranty. I hope its as good outside the US, as I believe they are a good company.

Any chance you'll be doing a drop on the Neato Botvac D80? Its the same vac, minus the wi-fi connection and it's a couple $100 less. I just don't think the wi-fi feature is worth it.

There are more differences - battery, filters, brush, perhaps even more. Also, it seems that the only D left now is D85. Yet, I'd probably get D85 over Connected if I could get it for $250 less.
