Recommended for wedding and event photographers, the lens features Nano Crystal and Super Integrated coating to reduce ghosting and flare, yielding greater image clarity. Two extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical lenses control chromatic and spherical aberrations. The Silent Wave motor uses ultrasonic vibrations to focus, rather than a gear system, which provides smooth, quiet, and precise autofocus operation.
