Los Angeles–based Norman Russell pays tribute to American grit, gumption, and manufacturing. Founded by Kortney Hastin, who drew inspiration for the company from the tough-as-nails men in his family, Norman Russell begins each pair of jeans with denim sourced from North Carolina’s storied Cone Mills. The denim is then fashioned into jeans in LA, and washed and distressed by hand. Made of 13.5-ounce denim with a redline selvage ID, this pair features vintage distressing and the tapered Cookie/Slim cut with a 14-inch leg opening. Well suited for daytime outfits, they’re great for anyone looking to put a non-raw pair in the rotation for the warmer months.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of wash and size: the 997 wash in size 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, or 36; or the Morro wash in size 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, or 36.
These jeans feature a chain-stitched hem and a red bar-tack stitch on the side of the jeans, plus two branded rivets at the coin pocket. Made from Argentinian cowhide, the leather patch is cut and branded in Los Angeles, and the canvas pocket bags come from a mill in Georgia. Each pair is finished with Kentucky-sourced brass buttons and rivets.
