Hey Everyone,
Thought I share another update added some SA key caps I had lying around. Just a heads up the lid will shut but not all the way this is the 1965 SA Key cap set with the poker 3 RGB. Hope this give you all a idea of how it will look with SA key caps
When you say the keyboard you mean the PCB?
Because you have changed the case... so the lighting is coming from the poker 3 RGB aaa oke.
You have any tips of websites for beginner to buy and build a custom keyboard :)
Thanks for the reply.
FLawLesSTaStEThe case is the same nothing has changed there :)
Really if your trying to go custom PCBs I would look 1UP Keyboards for Tutorial videos on there website or Geekhack they will be able help guide you building one from scratch. I have a multiple boards I own so this is one of many hope this helps :)
The original massdrop page for SA1976 says "The 1976 keyset in SA uniform row 3". So I think you are correct.
Also, please find additional picture to illustrate the issue.

Please remind that the case I have was not from massdrop, so the product in this drop could be different.

heyaaaThanks for the pics! I was asking if it was row 3 because as far as I know R3 is the shortest type of SA cap, so if it doesn't fit that it won't fit *any* SA caps at all.
Your case does look very similar to these though, and it wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't compatible either.
Nice board BTW, I've always loved the look of 1976 :)
What they mean to say is it doesn't sound like most cheap-o Walmart furniture. Which is made from particle board crap. That has a cheap halfway done plastic sticker overlay to make it look wood like. Real wood has a distinct sound and is lighter much lighter then particle board..

Just joined the drop for this. I'd never heard of wenge wood before, so looked it up. I might be reading it wrong but it looks like the plant it's made from is endangered.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millettia_laurentii.
Ty.GriffinEndangered wood species can still be imported and used in manufacturing as long as the "stock" being used was harvested before the species is declared as endangered.
Ty.GriffinAlso " The wood's distinctive color is standardized as a "wenge" color in many systems " so this case being called Wenge may be only called like that because it's in this color, not made from real Wenge ;)
Hey Everyone,
Thought I share with what my build looks like below is a Pok3r RGB and it fits nicely. The build quality is very well and not to be mean and judging but much better I see then the Royal Glam. Well enjoy :)
alexander.d.yatesI just installed my Anne Pro today into this case. I had to remove the center post (did it with a chisel) and the left-most post (also with a chisel). I then used a plunge router and a chisel to carve out an area for the battery. Fits great now!
