I had been keeping my eye out for some rainbow keycaps and these were exactly what I was hoping for. I'm loving the pastel and having the letters printed subtly on the front. They fit well and I was happy with the keycap puller and nicely laid-out box.
I am pleased to say I now have the gayest keyboard in the office.
The keycaps took a long time to get to me but when they did I was really glad I waited for them. They came in a small box but it was fine since there were no damages whatsoever. They were thick, high quality and the texture feels really great for me which makes typing a lot more enjoyable for me.
I thought the backlight wouldn't be seen since it was side lit and the light came in from the back of the switches but it turned out fine for me and the legends could be seen easily. I was also worried about what people were saying about the spacebar but thankfully my spacebar had no warping and do not get stuck when I press it.
I also like how the keycaps were put into the foam cutouts since I could put my stock ones there and it even has labels for which key goes into which slot. There was a slot for a keycap puller but there was no keycap puller included (sad). The colors of the keycaps weren't as deep as they were on the advertised pictures but it still looked great to me.
Overall, I really like how the feel of these keycaps are when I type on them and makes me want to find excuses just so I can keep typing on them. For around a total of $40, these keycaps are totally worth it imo despite the font. Maybe they can have a different font next time and a support for a shorter right shift key but yeah that's about it. Also, I got an extra esc key and a windows key just for everyone's information.
I am using this keycaps in my Anne Pro 2 with a wooden case. The keycaps feel premium with a great build quality and awesome feeling for typing, I am writing with them right now. I am giving 4 stars because I expected a keycap puller, in fact, there is an area for that tool on the foam, so I don't understand why wasn't included, Another issue is that the colors are not the same as shown in pictures, they are less deep, less vibrant than advertised. Also I got two Esc key.. I don't know why.
My only concern is how easy to clean this keycaps would be because they look like is easy to get stained, but right now I am very happy with them. Here is some pics.
UPDATE: After five month of use I am happy with this keycaps, they are in fact easy to clean. The only downside is that under certain color glow the label is unreadable.. I wish they could be a bit more thicccccc. Also, I found some clones (I guess) on Aliexpress with the label on top/side and far more readable than this.
The keys fit my Cherry mx Browns perfectly. I have a Keychron K2 and because of the smaller size of the keyboard not all of the keys had a keycap size replacement, but the colors of these keycaps are stunning. I get comments on them all day at work.
julzeratorDo you have a picture of how it turn out?? i have keychron K2 as well. I got it from Kickstarter and was looking for some keycaps to changes it's look! :D
I'll start off by saying that these are thick pbt keycaps, and they look, sound, and feel great. Unfortunately, every key larger than 1.25u came warped. Some warping is typical with pbt keycaps, but the spacebar is all but unusable. These will also only fit 60%, TKL, and fullsize boards. They will not fit the Drop Alt for example. I'd like to see a few extra caps thrown in, and some better quality control. They could also very much do without the gamer font on the legends. If you have a TKL or fullsize board, these are not a bad choice for the price. If you have any other layout, keep looking.
The sound is great, I only wish it had a 1.75U right shift key and 1U right CTRL, FN, ALT keys as well, but other than that, love the set, and looks amazing on the GMMK pro. I have the sky blue and looking to add the sunset blue one as well.
Keys look and feel great, the only downfall is the lack of alternative keys like 1.75u right shift, 1u - FN, CTRL, and ALT. If you want a similar look I would go for the ARTIFACT BLOOM SERIES KEYCAP SET: DUSK, but that doesn't have the side-lit look. *womp womp* BEWARE: they will not accept returns unless something is missing, broken, or damaged! They wouldn't let me return it because it didn't fit my GMMK Pro. Shame on you DROP.
I bought these keys to modify my first keyboard mainly for the colors and the look of the blank keycaps. They *do* look fabulous, a bit less saturated than how they appear on the site, which is perfectly fine by me. They also feel great, with a pleasing texture and a nice not-too-clacky sound. However, the keys directly to the right of the spacebar do not fit a 75% keyboard, which is the one I happened to buy. Part of it is my fault for not reading into the reviews, but the much cheaper replacement set that I got came with 75% compatible keys, so I would've expected this to come with some too.
I'd still recommend these, and I'm keeping them for my next build, which I'll make sure will fit them.
They're gorgeous and feel great, they're good quality keycaps.
Everything fit except for the Right shift, and alt, fn, and ctrl button. I'm super disappointed, and didn't realize until I got the keyboard. It really bothers me soooo much, but what can I do. Really wish they came with alternate size keys, or at least an option for me to purchase.
If you have a Marsback M1, as I do, you'll run into this problem as well, so you're best avoiding these keycaps.
