The NTH Amphion takes cues from the past, specifically from watches issued to military divers in the post-war period, which inspired the first Rolex’s. Based on Miyota 9105 movement, which vibrates 28,800 times per hour, it’s got a 42-hour power reserve. The indices take the form of rectangles and circles, with a downward-facing triangular mark at 12 o’clock. You can use the 120-click unidirectional rotating bezel to keep track of elapsed time when diving or on the go. The lumed hands, markers, and signature lumed crown offer visibility under water or in dark conditions, too. Also offered on this drop is the Näcken, which has a slightly different aesthetic. See the images below to compare the two.
Note: At checkout, choose between the NTH Amphion and the NTH Näcken. Both are available in limited quantities and multiple styles. You will also have the option to add on a natural rubber strap (+ $35) in black, navy blue, and royal blue.
Made with a polished 316L stainless steel case and screw-down crown, the Amphion is water resistant to a whopping 300 meters, so you needn’t worry about taking it on a dive. The slightly raised sapphire crystal is resistant to scratching, and the brushed stainless steel band offers a sturdy feel on the wrist. While it weighs over 5 ounces, it feels much lighter when worn so as not to create a burden on the wrist.
