MotorradSurely you didn’t come here just to ridicule. I’m sure that many of the knives and flashlights that are collected are never actually used as such and are merely acquired as collectors items. Same for tops. There is a place for things that bring enjoyment and satisfaction to some adults.
What's the Point? What's the point of television? What's the point of mobile games? What's the point of surfing the internet? What's the point of popping bubble wrap? What's the point of having fish as pets? What's the point of model railroading? What's the point of spinning tops?
Someone will always ask "What's the point?" And others will simply have an appreciation for that thing. Not everything has to have an explanation for it to bring pleasure or satisfaction to others. Nor does it need to be understood by everyone to have value to some. Sometimes it just is and exists above the criticism of those who can't appreciate it.

also, I didn't think reading 5 to 10 lines was considered challenging these days. Maybe toys really are your thing.
who said anything about wasting (notice the correct spelling here) time? if you feel you need to spend so much time justifying your hobby, then it's no waste.
now, all that time you spend pointing out the obvious, that's a waste of time.
I hope Santa brings you some nice new fun toys for Christmas.
