Back when I thought Pilot Frixion was the Bee's Knees, I adored stone paper. If Frixion is your preferred writing system then I strongly recommend these. I myself have long since returned to fountain pens and stone paper does not suit them. It's not the drying time at all that is the problem. That depends to a surprising extent on the ink you use. I found that some dark inks dry quickly enough and become smudge proof once dry. A lot of light inks will smudge long after they have dried, however. Still, it's easy to find an ink that dries reasonably quickly and does not smudge on stone paper, and considering that there is absolutely no feathering whatsoever on stone paper and that you need to destroy the paper to get bleed-through, stone paper starts to sound ideal. But then you actually try it... see, its the nib. No matter how smooth the nib is, it does not glide over stone paper, it always seems to dig in. It's like pushing a stroller (a parenting reference) with the breaks on.
