Can someone please comment on the writing experience? I have pretty much given up on ball points in favor of roller balls due to better smoothness and flow, and that most ball points present too much resistance, and result in uneven streaks as shown in the writing sample inthis drop. Wouldn't a fine ball point be super scratchy? I do use 0.5mm pencils, BTW.

MrSharkbaitThis maybe too late, but still, here are my two cents:
I own both the gel-roller and ballpoint versions of OHTO's needle point. I can hardly tell the difference. Both of them are very smooth, considering how fine they are. Much better than Pilot's V5 needlepoint, at least in my experience.
The problem with this implementation of the OHTO needlepoint is the tiny refill.
