Done in art-deco style, the Orient Howard honors the past in a tasteful way. The dial looks like a large clock on a late-19th-century building. It features large elongated numerals in increments of two, separated by small pip markers to indicate minutes. The inner dial has vertical grooves like pinstripes on a suit. A small window at 3 o’clock tracks the date. Powering the watch is Orient’s own F6722 movement, a manual-wind compatible movement of 22 jewels with a power reserve of 41 hours. If you’d like a look at the watch in action, just flip the case over and take a peek through the exhibition caseback. To protect the inner workings, it’s got a stainless steel case and mineral crystal and is water resistant to 50 meters.
