I purchased this iron because I watched a few you tube videos. They stated it was really great so I purchased it. I really do not like it at all!!! Very disappointing because it is so frustrating when you are quilting. It turns off after a few minutes of not using it and then you have to turn it on again and wait.
Picture shows cover/carrying case but detail descriptio does not include it. Is cover included?
Great price but the one I bought from Massdrop quit working after a couple of years. Not dropped, it may have been gunk build up within the iron's wiring. I bought another from my local quilt shop so that if it fails in the same way, I have recourse. Neither Massdrop nor Panasonic offered any remedies or suggestions as to the failure.
I bought from HSN June 2017 and this is $10.00 cheaper. Good Deal!
30$CAD for S&H BEWARE!

What is CAD?
This is the least expensive price currently offered anywhere.
I purchased this for my quilting group at church. Now myself and at least two others want one for home! It is great for both left and right hand Quilter’s to pick up!

Check your transactions. It will show there if you successfully joined the drop. You can find that in the top right corner of the page under your profile image. If you didn't. just hit the request button and you'll be notified when the drop comes back.

Thanks Sandy, got it this time!
It's states estimated shipping date is March 2nd. Was the date not much earlier when the drop was active?
Bought this iron the last time it was available and love it. Easy to use, lightweight and does the job really well. I hadn't had a cordless iron before and really appreciate it. Sounds silly, but not worrying about tripping on the cord and having it suddenly jerked out of my hand is pretty useful to me.
I almost bought this through massdrop, and I’m glad I didn’t. A quick google search told me HSN was offering the same thing without having to wait. In fact they had the ceramic coated one for a few bucks more than the massdrop one. I already have mine and have used it a few times. It’s a nice iron I love the cordless feature. It so far has outperformed my rowenta.
What's the warranty Period? Can I return it to Massdrop for refund if it fails during the warranty period? Getting assistance from Panasonic is not free or at least I can't find any response to the problem I had with this iron? Past tense because I finally gave up using it.
Do you ship to Canada, and if so how much?
Do you ship to Canada, and if you do, how much?
Has anyone else had this iron fail to heat after repeated use? Mine has a problem with the thermostat: it indicates that it is at high heat but is no longer heating. What is my recourse in returning to you or to the manufacturer. I really would like to know if this is a common problem.

I have an old Panasonic cordless that worked fine until it was dropped too many times. (Took it to my quilting group - bad idea. Just ordered through this drop and will not be taking it to my quilting group.) The one I have currently got to the point where it was not heating up enough, and due to some cracks caused by dropping the iron, it did leak a bit. I tend to move from sewing to pressing to trimming often enough that the iron would not have time to cool down, but if I noticed the light starting to flash (indicating it was about to turn off) I would just pick it up off the base and set it back on the base again and it would stay hot.
I do a similar process. It turns itself off all the time. Reheats super quickly.
