Made of yak wool, the men’s Concordia leggings by Peak to Plateau will give you supreme warmth without restricting your movement, whether you’re trekking icy mountains or skiing snowy slopes. Ankle length and form-fitting, these leggings are designed with comfort in mind Read More
I purchased both the top and bottom base layer back in Sept 2017 and received them in Nov. I am very disappointed with this purchase, mainly with the Concordia leggings, for many reasons:
1. The Yak Wool fabric is quite scratchy and a bit itchy compared to merino wool. While it is not as bad as regular wool, it is closer to it than merino wool.
2. The quality of the leggings are quite poor. A hole in the fabric has developed after using them lightly for less than 3 months. I have only washed them ~6 times (in delicate cycle). My other merino wool products (icebreakers and smartwool) have not had this issue.
3. As mentioned by others, the sizing is quite off. I did order one size up but the fit is extremely tight -- I'd actually recommend going two sizes up for people who prefer a looser fit.
4. While not a fault of the product, there is no fly.
Also, purchasers should be aware that there is no warranty from Massdrop or from the manufacturer. You do, however, have 30 days upon receipt of the product to report any issues.
Agreed about the poor quality. Mine developed holes in the crotch area and around the waist band after just about a month of wear and following correct washing instructions. Really unfortunate because I love my neck warmer and beanie by P2P. Really hope they get their manufacturing fixed because this company has promise. These leggings are very poor quality, though. Had to completely throw mine out after just SEVEN WEEKS.
Just to echo everybody else here about sizing. I normally wear a women's size 10 in pants and I have a couple Smartwool and Icebreaker leggings in medium. I bought a size medium in these leggings and they are super tight and also a bit short. They're wearable, but I should've have gone with the large. Hopefully there will be another drop so I can pick up a large and then just sell these to help reimburse some.
Love the idea, but I feel Peak to Plateau is losing sales over their non-industry standard sizing. :/
Used a pair of Smartwool baselayers to compare the measurements, these apparently have significantly less stretch. 5'8", 32" waist, ordered a medium. Not workable for me, unfortunately, large or XL would have been better. Might have a friend or two that could use them though. One pair also developed a small tear when putting them on, they appear pretty fragile.
These are super tight. I ordered a large because the suggestion was to order a size larger. I’m a 32-33 normally and i’m not particularly hefty so i figured a L would be perfect. Nope, an XL or even an XXL would have been better. They only go to about 3-4” above my ankle. I really wanted to like these but come on, get a clue on sizing. I will order again if its offered because they are pretty great otherwise.
I'm about 5'7", 145-150lbs, 30" waist, quite athletic with large'ish quads/glutes. I ordered a small. Waist/glutes fit fine, but I do feel the lower quads/knee area is rather tight; haven't had the chance to wear them all day yet though, so I don't know if they would stretch out after some wear.
I'm not sure I'd try a medium, considering waist/glutes are good right now.
